Common Questions

Start with the closest matching issue. Most connection problems are fixed by restarting and reconnecting Bluetooth.

Make sure the included power supply is fully seated at both the wall outlet and the robot. Allow up to about 20 seconds for startup. If nothing lights up or moves, unplug it, reconnect it firmly, and try another known-working wall outlet.

If it still does not start, contact support with your order number and a short video.

Look for REPO_BT_XXXX in your device’s Bluetooth settings. The last four characters are different on each unit.

Confirm that REPO_BT_XXXX is connected and selected as the audio output, then turn up the volume on your connected device.

  • Pause and replay the audio.
  • Disconnect and reconnect Bluetooth.
  • Restart the robot by unplugging and reconnecting the included power supply.
  • Test with a second phone, tablet, or computer when possible.

If audio fails on multiple devices, contact support.

Open System Settings > Sound and manually select REPO_BT_XXXX as the output device. If shown, select it under input as well. Turn up the Mac volume, then pause and replay the audio.

First, check the eye-light pattern. See the Status Light Guide.

  • Prolonged red + limp mouth: let the robot cool fully.
  • Amber double blink: remove anything blocking the mouth.
  • Magenta fade or solid orange: restart once, then contact support if the warning returns.

Mouth Hold Mode may be active. Hold + and together for 2 seconds to enter the Mouth Menu, then press to close the mouth and return to normal audio-reactive movement.

No. Use only the included 12V DC power supply. A supply with the wrong voltage, polarity, or connector can permanently damage the robot.

A loose power connection can cause repeated restarts. Unplug the adapter, reconnect both ends firmly, and try another wall outlet. Stop using the unit and contact support if the behavior continues with the included power supply fully connected.

Use the support form and include your order number plus clear photos or a short video. Do not force the mouth or open the enclosure before contacting support.

Before contacting support: restart the robot, reconnect Bluetooth, and test a second audio source when possible. Include the eye color or animation shown during the problem.
